The art of China has been featured throughout the world with true modernity and post-modern form throughout the 1990's. These new art forms differ greatly from the modern Chinese art from 1949 to the 1980's. For this reason we have named it-Chinese Contemporary Art. At the beginning of the 1990's, Nanjing witnessed the rise of a number of fresh, young contemporary artists. Currently, contemporary art in Nanjing is undergoing a strong period of growth. So this website was designed to encourage mutual cooperation and exchange between contemporary artists and to those who understand and support contemporary art.
